Terms of Service
Last updated: October 9, 2026
These terms apply to services provided by Condo HVAC Repair Toronto ("we", "us", "our") and to use of this website. By booking a service or using the site, you agree to them.
1. Services
We provide condo and multi-residential HVAC services in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area, including:
- Condo HVAC Repair
- Condo AC Repair
- Fan Coil Repair
- Condo Heat Pump Repair
- Magic-Pak PTAC Replacement
- Vertical Hydronic Riser Service
- Condo HVAC Replacement
Building programs, service contracts and replacement projects may also be covered by a separate written proposal or contract. If that document conflicts with these terms, the signed document applies.
2. Diagnostics, Scopes and Quotes
A diagnostic fee applies to every service visit: $185 for standard diagnostics, $240 for heat pumps and $285 for after-hours and weekend visits, unless a different price is confirmed in writing. After the diagnostic, we provide a written scope and price. No repair work starts until you, or an authorized representative, approve it.
If we find a new issue during the work that changes the scope or price, we stop and ask for approval before continuing. Published price ranges on this website are typical bands and are confirmed on the written scope for each job.
3. Pricing and Payment
All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and exclude HST unless stated. Payment is due on completion for single-suite work, by cheque, credit card or EFT. Property management accounts and building programs are invoiced on the terms set out in the written proposal, such as progress billing by floor, net 30 or a deposit with the balance at sign-off.
4. Building Access and Authorization
You confirm that you are the condo owner, property manager or an authorized board or corporation representative, or that you have their permission to book the work. You are responsible for telling us about building rules that affect access. We will request certificates of insurance, elevator bookings and suite entry notices from management where needed.
5. Owner and Corporation Responsibility
Responsibility for HVAC repairs in a condominium is set by your declaration, by-laws and the Condominium Act. We document where a fault is located, but we do not decide who is responsible for paying. Unless agreed otherwise in writing, the person who books and approves the work is responsible for payment.
6. Cancellations
Please give at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule a booked visit. Late cancellations or missed access may be charged the diagnostic fee. Building programs follow the cancellation terms in their proposal.
7. Warranty
Our work is covered by a written workmanship warranty. The terms are printed on your invoice or project close-out documents. Parts and equipment carry the manufacturer's warranty. Warranty does not cover damage from misuse, building loop or plant failures outside our scope, or work done by others after our visit.
8. Limitation of Liability
We carry $5M commercial general liability insurance and WSIB coverage. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for conditions that existed before our work and were outside the approved scope.
9. Website Use
Content on this website, including text, images and pricing information, is provided for general information and belongs to Condo HVAC Repair Toronto. It may not be copied for commercial use without permission.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
